Sapphire Coast Walks
We operate on the Sapphire Coast NSW, home to stunning beaches, pristine estuaries, old growth forest and an ancient geological landscape.
Our region is made up of 75% national park, known as Australia’s coastal wilderness. This undiscovered pocket of wild coastline is steeped in nature, wildlife and history. The Sapphire Coast is located in the deep south of New South Wales, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne and just three hours from Canberra.
We currently operate tours in Mimosa Rocks National Park, Bournda National Park and Beowa National Park.
Snowy Mountain Walks
We also operate in the Snowy Mountains, home to Australia’s highest peaks and iconic alpine landscapes. The region is alive with twisted snow gums, wildflower meadows, glacial lakes and sweeping ridgelines.
In summer, the Snowies transform into a hiking paradise, offering a completely different side of Australia’s wilderness. Our guided walks explore Kosciuszko National Park, connecting you with alpine heritage, breathtaking views and the unforgettable experience of standing on the roof of the country.

About Us
Tess & Cam
At Sapphire Coast Guiding Co., our story is simple - we love walking, we love wild places, and we love sharing them with others.
Founded and run by Tess and Cam, our small, family business was built on the belief that a great walk should balance comfort and adventure in equal measure.
“A great walk with great support. I had a wonderful time doing the Light to Light walk with the affable and generous hosts. The campsite was well equipped and comfortable. The food and wine excellent. The views and landscapes are amazing and Cam and Tess are full of knowledge on the local botany, ecology and geology. I loved it.”
Karen B, Light to Light Walk - 3 Day Fully Guided Walk
"Our guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the area. It was interesting learning about the local flora and fauna, the Aboriginal connection to the land and the fascinating stories about whaling and early settlement. The crew were very welcoming and created such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The camping experience was very comfortable and organised. The food which included local produce - such as oysters, cheeses and wines was just '5 star' delicious!"

Button"I knew I was going to enjoy the Light2Light Walk but I had no idea that it was going to be JUST SO GOOD. From the start to finish, everything was so well organised and professional, and the coastal walk itself was exceptional. Fabulous April weather, amazing food, great company and lots of fun, and wildlife galore. Wallabies, Possums, Goannas, Wombats, Bandicoots, Seals, Dolphins and endless bird life. Many thanks to the crew, and a special mention for the gastronomic catering featuring the best of local produce, with a special mention for the super fresh oysters and mussels."
Graeme, Light to Light Walk - 3 Day Fully Guided Walk
Button"The walk is amazing. Doable by anyone of reasonable fitness, and the pace varies with stops to chat about what you see and take photos. All you carry is a day pack - easy. You return to camp to a cup of tea, then we swam in the freshwater creek and then had lovely nibblies before dinner. Oysters one night, a cheese platter with pate another, and with the wine and beer offered, it was a lovely way to wind down. Dinners were amazing, and we sat around the campfire for dinner and great conversation and then retired to very spacious tents and slept very well."
