The Wharf to Wharf Walk is a journey through history, crossing the ancient lands of the Yuin people, between two historic wharves on the Sapphire Coast, NSW. The walk celebrates the incredible beauty of our coast, taking in rugged cliffs, spectacular headlands, secluded bays, lakes, freshwater lagoons and long, isolated beaches. But you won’t have time to stand still in awe and contemplate all of that, as this is a challenge, not for the faint hearted!
In 2024 there will be both RUN and WALK categories. With all challengers departing Tathra Wharf as the sun rises at 7:08am. Challengers will self seed.
The course will be marked where required and there will be marshals at key locations along the course to direct and assist. There will be one checkpoint to resupply with water. But mostly, you and your buddies will be on your own as you traverse the trail.
Included in your entry fee is a bus transfer from Spencer Park in Merimbula where there is space to park your car, to Tathra Wharf to begin the challenge. The bus will depart from Spencer Park in Merimbula at 0545 sharp. Registration will be at Tathra Wharf from 0615.
Sapphire Coast Guiding Co. is covered by its own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident insurance . It is strongly recommended to take out your own personal accident and ambulance cover for the event. Your private health insurance policy may include this, but you will need to check with them.
